Chadwick International launches Residential Life program to support a more diverse student population

Chadwick International (CI), the nation's largest international educational institution in Seoul and Gyeonggi metropolitan area, is launching a Residential Life Program to support a more diverse student population starting in August 2016.

The 7-day full boarding program is specifically designed for students in Grades 9 -12 who want to expand their Chadwick educational experience into the residential life experience.

The boarding students will reside on the discrete and secure floors of the Incheon Global Campus (IGC) Guest House dedicated only to Chadwick students. Divided by gender and grouped by age, students will be accommodated in double rooms with a private bath. The guest house is also equipped with an open study hall and a kitchenette. Incheon Global Campus is approximately 3km away from Chadwick campus and buses will be provided for travel between the school and the IGC Guest House.

Two on-site Chadwick faculty members on each floor provide care, supervision, mentoring for the students as well as an academic support. During weekends, students will experience a variety of weekend excursions such as visiting museums in Seoul and Gyeonggi area, participating or watching sport activities, shopping, movies, and much more thanks to the many opportunities available in Songdo.

Chadwick International's Head of School, Shelly Luke Wille, said "The CI Residential Life program is designed to offer the Chadwick experience to a more diverse student population." She added that "The program will encourage students to prepare for college life and beyond through the CI Mission. Students will be immersed in a warm environment where their social, academic and emotional needs will be supported."

The annual cost of the program including room, meals (breakfast & dinner), and transportation is KRW 16,000,000.
