Upper School students put on a magnificent show at last month’s Fall Concert. The night began with performances of “Event Horizon,” “Just the Two of Us,” and “All I Want For Christmas,” followed by “Path Of The Wind,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, “Jingle Bell Rock,” “The Christmas Concerto,” “Snowberry” and “Libertango,” and wrapped up with performances of “Letter From Sado” and “Here Comes Santa Claus.”
Alongside our Chadwick Mission, the goal of our Music Department is to promote excellence at all levels of music education. Learning about and through the performing arts is fundamental to the development of the whole person, promoting creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, self-efficacy and social-emotional well-being. Engagement in the arts is gratifying and will encourage the students to continue creating and appreciating art throughout their whole lives. We hope our students have developed a love for making music and an appreciation for the power that music has to impact our world today. We hope these young musicians continue to be involved in music, whether attending concerts, supporting musical organizations, or creating and performing music yourselves.
We extend the utmost appreciation to our Theatre Tech Crew, administrators and support staff for their vital role in seeing this production come to life.
