COVID-19 has created many new challenges, but occasionally, it has also presented a silver lining. This fall, the pandemic has forced a number of Chadwick International alumni to temporarily adjust their college and career plans in order to stay in Korea. This influx of talent has been a windfall for Chadwick as we have welcomed two dozen alumni back to campus through our newly created internship program. Alumni Interns are supporting a variety of initiatives including classroom learning, communications, community programming, outdoor education, and technology integration. In turn, the internship program is providing alumni with professional development, the ability to reconnect with CI faculty and students, and the chance to give back to their alma mater. The community is incredibly grateful to have these accomplished alumni taking advantage of this otherwise difficult time to make Chadwick a better place - to “lead by example.”
