Bright, bold and beaming with possibility
Chadwick International students are pioneers. Each day on campus, they’re cultivating character, forging lifelong friendships and becoming globally-minded leaders who make a difference in the lives of others. They love school because they get to engage in so many exciting things throughout their day. It’s an experience that fuels their passion for learning in a spirited and supportive environment.
Many backgrounds. One exceptional community.
At Chadwick, our 1,300 students represent more than 50 countries from around the world. While each enriches our community with unique talents and perspectives, they all share a similar drive to be their best both in and outside the classroom. That means exercising their competitive nature while fiercely supporting one another.
On their own, Chadwick’s Chadwick’s Core Values — Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Fairness and Compassion — may seem like lofty words. But together, they’re a veritable compass that guides every decision our students make. Growing up with these values embedded in the fabric of Chadwick’s classrooms and culture fosters personal wisdom and maturity beyond their years.
Ted Hill Head of School
Our goal is to develop students who consistently display persistence, courage, teamwork, sportsmanship, respect and individual commitment, as well as a competitive spirit.
Passion, play and purpose
Chadwick students are doers. In addition to being stellar students, they seize new opportunities for learning, leadership and personal growth by participating in over 50 clubs, co-curricular activities and student-run organizations. With so many options available, students get to indulge passions, discover new talents, sharpen skills and experience the joy of serving others. They also form meaningful bonds and have lots of fun!
An extended family
Chadwick’s Buddy Program assigns students from each school division as “family” who meet each week to support each other through their Chadwick experience. They read books, play games and discuss real life concerns like their studies, family, Korean Military service and future career choices. Upper School students get to lead by example for their Middle and Village School counterparts while the younger students remind them to play and be curious. Supporting each other’s growth over time is a truly special gift. For students without siblings, it’s an especially enriching experience.
CHADWICK SCHOOL SPIRIT IN ACTION
The ‘Dolphins, One and All’ song was written by a faculty member and was translated into Korean by our students. It is now sung by the school at morning assemblies.
DOLPHINS ONE AND ALL
All the 'Phins rise up to cheer you
As we raise the ballad high
Stand together old and young ones
Where blue sea meets golden sky
Our strong hearts and minds will guide us
As the bell rings out its call
From far and near they'll hear our cheer
For Chadwick Dolphins one and all
