STEM at Chadwick immerses students in exciting and experiential learning that prepares them for success out in the real world.

Where play promotes a love of learning

Chadwick International’s Early Years program is where students ages 4 - 6 fall in love with learning. From the moment they enter the room, they’re encouraged to play, inquire, connect and express themselves. With classrooms and content designed to stimulate their natural sense of wonder, Early Years students quickly discover what it means to be active, independent learners.

Chadwick’s Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Fairness and Compassion are reinforced each day in an environment where students learn to be happy, healthy and self-confident. Each grade is based around key stages of development with activities that prepare students for the challenges of academic and personal growth to come. Teachers focus on building trust and language skills, which empower students to be bilingual, speaking English in school and their native language at home.

What an enthusiastic and understanding teacher can do to open vistas for a child and assist them in releasing their own innate powers cannot be measured.

Margaret Chadwick

Early Years teachers recognize and foster each child’s unique attributes, giving them the freedom and confidence to be responsible leaders in their own education. Students learn to communicate and collaborate effectively. They ask “why,” form theories, test their ideas and discover new things — all of which encourage a deep love of learning.

Physical activities and multi-sensory experiences get students connected with their environment for hands-on learning that is both effective and fun. Playing and learning outside is more than an outlet for their energy. They develop imagination, resourcefulness, key problem-solving skills and a sense of well-being. Children thrive when they have the opportunity to play safely and freely while learning to assess risk and manage new situations.
