On April 28-30, Grade 5 students completed a three-day OE program at Mokgye Solbat Campground near Chungju, with strong engagement across a wide range of experiences. Students spent their days exploring rivers and forests through hiking, biking, and introductory kayaking.
Throughout the day, they engaged in team-building, self-reflection, nature exploration, developed campcraft skills, and embraced shared group responsibilities that encouraged collaboration and independence.
Evenings were a highlight, with night-adaptation lessons, stargazing, group games, and songs and s'mores around campfires that brought each group together.
On the final morning, students chose from option blocks including art, kayaking, biking, and kite making.
We are proud of how the students approached this program and how they supported one another through this outdoor experience.
